Mostly cloudy Wednesday night. A chance of mainly mountain snow. Lows in the 10s to lower 20s.
Our next weather maker will arrive Thursday. This will bring accumulating snow to most locations across NBC Montana. Snow will continue for most locations through late Friday and early Saturday morning. Mountain passes will see 4 to 10 inches of snow. Valley locations could see 1 to 4 inches. Road conditions will be changing rapidly. You can check the Montana road report by clicking here. WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY Thursday and Friday for most of NBC Montana, including the Bozeman and Kalispell areas. Missoula and Butte are not officially in the advisory. However, accumulating snow is expected in those areas as well.
The valley inversions will be tough to break at first, with highs in the upper 20s in Missoula and Kalispell with 30s outside the inversions in Butte and Bozeman. That is Thursday. All of the area will then see highs warm to the 30s Friday through next week, with a few areas flirting with 40. Unsettled weather will continue next week, especially in areas west of the divide.
