BUTTE, Mont. — Ted Deschner, the owner of Butte's Party Palace, was arrested Saturday; his second arrest in a week.
Deschner was arrested both times for staying open past the 12:30 a.m. curfew set by Governor Steve Bullock's COVID 19 restrictions.
In both arrests, Deschner was charged with disorderly conduct for trying to rally the crowd.
During the second arrest, Deschner went onto the PA system and told the crowd to start a riot, according to the police report.
Saturday he was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer, facing fines of over $500.
The bar was up and running the next day.
