Sheriff Ed Lester tells NBC Montana three teens who climbed the fence of a psychiatric treatment center in Butte and ran have been located and are now in police custody.

Officers say the three ran after disturbance at the center Thursday at about 6:19 p.m.

The Acadia facility is at 55 basin Creek Road in Butte.

Staff members reported that three juveniles had fled from the facility by climbing over the fence on the perimeter of the property.

Officers tracked the three juveniles north, but lost the tracks around the Northwestern Energy facility on Harrison Avenue.

A dispatcher told NBC Montana that the three had been located sometime before 6:00 a.m. Friday.

One of the teens was described as a 16-year-old native american girl, who was wearing only hospital fabric slippers, no shoes.

The other two were boys, aged 15 and 16.
