Slippery road conditions over mountain passes this morning

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect until 9 am Wednesday for West Glacier region above 4500 ft. Snow accumulation of 2-4" expected to impact travel for Bad Rock Canyon, Essex, Highway 83 Bigfork to Swan, Lake, Marias Pass, and Polebridge.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect until 9 am Wednesday for Northern and Southern Rocky Mountain Front, Central and Southern Lewis and Clark above 5000 ft. Snow accumulations of up to 8" possible at Logan, MacDonald and Rogers Passes.

A few rain and snow showers will linger this morning. Otherwise, today will bring partly cloudy skies and highs only into the 30s and 40s.

Expect mostly sunny skies on Thursday with highs in the low 40s around Butte and Bozeman and lower 50s in Missoula and Kalispell.

Another chance of valley rain and mountain snow will impact the area by Friday night into Saturday morning. Warming to more seasonable fall temperatures by early next week with highs in the 50s and 60s.
