Far southwest Montana will continue to have a chance of snow, but for most of western Montana we will see partial clearing Wednesday night. Cold with lows in the 20s. Snow is likely around West Yellowstone and Big Sky south of Bozeman where one to three inches are possible.
Mostly sunny west of the divide on Thursday with partly sunny skies east. Continued cooler than normal with highs in the lower 40s in the Butte and Bozeman areas to the lower 50s in Missoula and Kalispell. More of the same on Friday.
Another cold front will bring a chance of rain and snow later Friday night and Saturday. Cooler again Saturday with highs in the 30s in Butte and Bozeman to the 40s in Missoula and Kalispell.
Models are finally coming together to bring us milder weather after ending summer and starting autumn so much cooler than normal. We may actually see highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s by the middle of next week.
