After a GOP campaign event with Vice President Mike Pence in Montana, a series of tweets further fueled speculation about the possibility of another Montana rally with President Trump.

President Trump campaigned for Montana GOP candidates four times in 2018, so there was little doubt he would be back in 2020. Once COVID-19 hit, it changed the campaign strategy for some time.

In June, Trump sent out a tweet calling the race between Sen. Steve Daines and Gov. Steve Bullock important for Montana, saying, “I’ll be there to help Steve win big!!!”

After Monday’s Belgrade rally, Daines sent out a tweet saying he would see the president soon. When Maritsa Georgiou retweeted if, asking if it meant he would see him soon in D.C. or if it was hinting at another rally in Big Sky country, Daines quickly replied with, “Stay tuned.” He added an emoji with a hand over its mouth.

When we reached out to the campaign for an official statement Tuesday, they also said, “Stay tuned.” They did confirm the senator has spoken to the president numerous times about plans to campaign on his behalf in Montana.

As we know, these things often have just a few days’ notice. We only have 49 days until election day. So stay tuned!
