Bozeman, Mont. — A new way to get some exercise inside and away from this winter's frigid temperatures is coming to Bozeman. It's a new trampoline park called Jump Time Bozeman.
Co-owner Chad Babcock has a background in gymnastics, and when he first saw a trampoline park online he was hooked.
"I was like, ‘Wow! What’s that?’ This was in 2010, and I'm like, ‘I want to try that,’" Babcock said.
Flip forward nine years, now his crew is on the cusp of opening their fourth trampoline park, their first in Montana and another first for the world.
"We're going to be the first fully glow-in-the-dark trampoline park in the world," he said.
Co-owner Eric Anderson has called Bozeman home for years.
"We've been looking at Bozeman for about four years," said Anderson, who graduated from Montana State University 20 years ago with a degree in architecture.
Now he's putting that degree to work to get a piece of the traffic that comes from all over the country.
"A lot of the audience on their way to Big Sky, or they're going to ski or on their way to Yellowstone,” he said. “There's a day they can spend going to the hot springs (or) coming here."
The indoor park is expected to open by mid-March.
