Winter Storm, accumulating snow

    WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for all of NBC Montana. Additional snowfall of 1 to 4 inches for valley locations. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will create reduced visibility from blowing snow across parts of southwest Montana. WINTER STORM WARNING for Gallatin County, including Bozeman. In Gallatin County, snowfall of 4 to 8 inches in the valleys and 9 to 16 inches in the mountains.

    Snow showers will begin to diminish this afternoon. Occasional snow showers are possible Thursday and Friday. Snow accumulations for the end of the week will stay under an inch or two. Daytime highs will be in the mid 30s with lows in the 20s.

    Weekend weather: Low clouds and freezing fog will impact travel this weekend. A few isolated mountain showers will be possible. Otherwise, temperature swill be in the upper 30s and low 40s.
