WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES have been issued through Wednesday for Glacier Park south along the divide to all of southwest Montana east of the divide. That includes the Bozeman area. Snowfall of 1 to 4 inches in the valleys with 4 to 10 inches in the mountains.

Elsewhere, rain and drizzle will mix with and change to snow today in the Missoula and Kalispell areas. A light accumulation of an inch or two of snow, especially in the Flathead, will be possible Wednesday. The Butte area may see as much as 3 inches of snow. High temperatures will be in the 30s.

A stronger storm system will impact the region Thursday and Friday with heavy snow in some areas. A WINTER STORM WATCH has been posted for 4 to 8 inches for areas north of Kalispell through Thursday.

Highs will warm into the 30 to around 40 Thursday, but will drop to the upper 20s and 30s Friday through the weekend.

The weekend will be much calmer and drier. Another chance of snow by Tuesday of next week.
