MISSOULA, Mont. — One woman is dead after crashing her vehicle on Homestake Pass Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency responders were called to mile marker 233 on Interstate 90 just before 3 p.m.
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Matt Christensen says the woman’s car had initially drifted into the ditch. After trying to get back onto the interstate she overcorrected, slid down and hit the guard rail.
The vehicle rolled multiple times, and the woman was ejected from the vehicle.
MHP says she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and was pronounced dead on scene.
Officials have not yet identified the woman.
