Duo busted for receiving a shipment for 55-pounds of "name brand" marijuana
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT)- The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security’s Bulk Cash Task force found 55 pounds of “name brand” high quality marijuana shipped to a residence in Springfield Saturday evening.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s office agents from the Bulk Task Force were alerted about three packages addressed to Chelsea Dean by a shipping company.
Investigators with Clark County Sheriff's office and the Bulk Task Force organized a delivery of the packages to the residence on 1670 Summit St.
When the packages arrived at the residence, a man later identified as Aaron Marshall took the packages inside the residence.
In addition to the 55 pounds of “name brand” high quality marijuana approximately worth a street value of $165,000, investigators also found 67 individually packaged “caviar” joints approximately worth a street value of $4,300, $9540 in cash and a loaded firearm.
Dean and Marshall were found inside and taken to the Clark County Jail. Clark County Deputies booked Dean and Marshall on the suspicion of trafficking marijuana.
