BELGRADE, Mont. -- Jared Rockwell, a first team all-conference boys soccer player at Belgrade High School, has signed with Toccoa Falls College. The school in Georgia competes in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
Rockwell becomes the second boys soccer player from Belgrade in the last two weeks to sign with a college program, after teammate Dominick Portnell signed with Rocky Mountain College on Feb. 20.
Toccoa Falls College is more than 2,000 miles away from Belgrade, but Rockwell says the school will still feel like home.
"I've been there quite a bit, and I really like the campus,” Rockwell said. “I have family down there close by, and I also have my brother (Brandon) going to college down there too. It will be fun to play with him again."
Rockwell scored 10 goals and assisted on eight others in his senior season, and the midfielder helped Belgrade win back-to-back Class A state championships in his final two seasons with the Panthers.
