Kendal Manuel coming home to play for the Grizzlies
The Montana men's basketball team is getting a very familiar face to those who follow high school hoops in Montana.
Kendal Manuel is coming back to the Treasure State, where he won the class AA state title with Billings Skyview as a senior.
Manuel made the announcement regarding his commitment to the Grizzlies on twitter late last week.
Manuel spent the last three years at Oregon State playing alongside Hellgate grad Tres Tinkle and under former Griz head coach Wayne Tinkle. He played over 28 minutes per game as freshman but averaged just under 11 minutes a night last season as a sophomore.
Manuel will have to sit out the upcoming 2018-2019 season due to NCAA transfer rules. He will have at least one season of eligibility after that and possibly two if he's approved for a medical hardship waiver. Manuel missed his entire freshman season due to broken leg.
