Montana falls to Creighton on the road
MISSOULA, Mont. —
The Montana Grizzlies headed into their game against Creighton as one of the top shooting teams.
The Griz kept that moniker as they shot 55 percent for the game. But Creighton shot a blistering 60 percent from the field and 54 percent from the 3-point line.
Sayeed Pridgett led the way with 23 points on 9-13 shooting, followed by Michael Oguine, who finished with 21 on 8-11 shooting.
Montana was without starter Jamar Akoh for the fifth consecutive game.
The Grizzlies head home to take on the College of Idaho on Monday.
