Montana heads to Washington St. for first round of NCAA Tournament
MISSOULA, Mont. —
The Montana Soccer team is officially heading to Pullman, Washington for it's opening round matchup of the NCAA Tournament.
The selection show today revealed the Grizzlies will have their rematch with the Cougars, a game they lost 3-1 in September.
Montana received the Big Sky Conference's automatic bid after winning the conference tournament Sunday 1-0 over Northern Arizona. It is the Grizzlies first NCAA tournament appearance since 2011, and should they win it will be their first NCAA tournament win since 2000, when they defeated Washington St.
The game is scheduled for Nov. 9 at 8 p.m.
