The Clemson Tigers caused Alabama to have its worst loss of Nick Saban's tenure with the Tide. The Tigers, capturing its second national title in three years with a 44-16 victory over Alabama, proved that their football program is the best in all of the country. Early in the second quarter, Alabama still led Clemson, 16-14. They didn't hold onto that lead long, as things started to take a turn for the Tide very quickly. Clemson would run 30 unanswered points over the next two quarters, which confirmed the solidification of the Tiger program.

For Clemson, they were able to secure this win with underclassmen. For the rest of college football, that is a very scary thought. As quarterback Trevor Lawrence is only a freshman, he (presumably) has two more years left to lead this team, along with many others. The Clemson Tigers are now the ultimate team in college football to defeat, as they proved that on Monday night.
